Other Experience

Originally from the infamous state of New Jersey, Ashley is an Italian Jew – a pizza bagel – raised among the women of the Real Housewives, so naturally Ashley has killer wit, sass, and is a little cray-cray! Ashley has been performing ever since her theatrical debut in the Kindergarten Follies, and went on to graduate Magna Cum Laude with a BFA in Theatre Performance from Chapman University.

STAND UP:

Ashley performs standup regularly at The Comedy Story (Main Stage & Original Room), The Jon Lovitz Comedy Club, Flappers, and elsewhere. Ashley was a Semi-Finalist in California’s Funniest Female Contest, one of sixteen, out of the original ninety, to make it to this stage of the competition.

IMPROV:

Ashley is in the Advance Study Program at UCBTLA (Upright Citizens Brigade) (UCB). She performs with her improv team Miso Attack, and producers her own indie improv show once a month.

SPORTS FAN:

Ashley is a big sports fan! Her favorite teams are, the NY Giants, the NY Yankees, and the New Jersey Devils. Her very first words were “Yay! Touch Down Giants”!

FEATURE FILM:

Recently, Ashley worked with director DJ Pooh on his feature film "Grow House". She also was featured in Jeff Probst's film "Kiss Me" and Steve Anderson's film "The White Orchid".

PHILANTHROPY:

Ashley held a successful premiere party for her webseries Liv, Out Loud!, which also served as a fundraising event for the LGBT organization Millennia Scope Entertainment Foundation.

In addition to Liv, Out Loud!, Ashley has co-produced and starred in the short film Moving Millie, which made its festival premiere at the Big Apple Film Festival.

THEATRE:

Ashley comes from a theatre background, having performed professionally with AEA companies around the New York City and New Jersey area since a young age. Ashley graduated Magna Cum Laude from Chapman University with a BFA in Theatre Performance. She is proud to have graduated with Departmental Honors, and to have been the 2008 recipient of The Graduating Senior Kemp-Blair Award for Outstanding Achievement in Theatre Over Four Years. Some of her most memorable performances include; Ellen in The Little Dog Laughed at the Santa Monica Theatre Guild for which is was nominated for a Best Supporting Actress for the 58th Annual Geoffrey Awards. Lady Sneerwell in The School for Scandal, and Jinx in Life Under Water.

SINGING:

Ashley was trained in Musical Theatre. Her vocal range is Mezzo-Soprano Belt.

SPECIAL AND INTERESTING SKILLS:

Spin (Spinning, Cycle, Cycling, Bike, Bike Riding), Yoga, Pilates (mat and reformer), hula hoop, jump rope, poker and card player, great with kids and animals, can raise right eyebrow, can roll tongue
